According to a ruling from May 1998, the Hamburg Regional Court ruled that the person placing the link may be jointly responsible for the content of the linked pages. Only a clear distancing from the pages can prevent this. The following applies to all links and banners: “We assume no responsibility for the content of the linked pages, as they were not our own editorial responsibility. This also applies to all links posted on our website and to all content of the pages to which the banners and links lead!”
